FAQs

How much does it cost to be a vendor?

Great question! Right now, we do not have a specific vendors listing but hope to offer this as soon as possible! Cost wise, we are not sure but we want to provide the best bang for your buck!

I do not live in the Appalachian Mountains but shot there/got married there. Can I still submit?

ABSOLUTELY! We are open to all submissions that take place in the heart of Appalachia!

What kind of sessions do you take?

We are currently taking engagement sessions, bridal sessions, couples sessions, elopements and weddings that are true to color.

Do you take warm, dark or moody images?

While we know everyone’s creativity and style is different, we are sticking to the true to color styles!

What do I need to do to submit?

Yay!! The next step is filling out the form on the submit page!

How do I get featured on the Appalachain Mountain Bride blog?

We want to show off as many love stories as possible; however, we just can’t promise everything that is submitted will be featured. We will send a reply to all submissions with updates and positive feedback. Something that helps is a detailed description or story of the images and powerful images!

Do you have a specific time frame of what can be submitted?

Not right now! We know mountain lovers have existed before our publication so share whatever you can that matches our theme, no matter when it happened! As we become more popular, we will most likely put a limited time frame.

What is considered the Appalachian Mountains/Appalachian Valley?

The Appalachian Mountains are a “system of mountains in the eastern North America” as Google references. The states included are Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky, Ohio, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine and the Canadian Provinces of Quebec and New Brunswick.

Do you only take pictures with mountains in them?

NOPE! We take all sorts of backgrounds! Mountains, waterfalls, forests, wedding venues, etc! However, being featured depends on the images, the story provided and the availability of featuring at that time.

Who runs the Appalachian Mountain Bride?

That’s our little secret for now! We plan to introduce ourselves soon though!

If I have more questions, is there someone I can talk to?

Absolutely! Our email is appalachianmountainbride@gmail.com
