Dreamy Wedding in the Appalachian Mountains

Kaylee and Brodie met in their small town in Randolph County and have been dating since high school. They continued dating throughout college as they both attended Appalachian State University. After graduation, Kaylee went on to earn her DTP (Doctor of Physical Therapy) and Brodie cheered her on along the way, waiting until she completed that degree to pop THE question! Being that Boone, NC and the Appalachian Mountains were a mutual love for them both it ended up being incorporated into both their proposal and wedding day! Brodie proposed to Kaylee at Wiseman's View and she announced it to the world with the caption "Came for the views, left with a ring!" and on to wedding planning it was!

Wedding: The two got married on June 13, 2020 after numerous changes and stresses of planning a wedding during a global pandemic. However, not once did they waiver in their love for one another and desire to get married! After being together for so many years it was time! The venue is placed right in the middle of mountain views (hence the name) and provided an unbelievable backdrop for their special day! Having the mountains in their pictures was very important to Kaylee, as it's one of their favorite places so we kept that in consideration for photographs! Luckily, almost everywhere you turned you found a breathtaking view! From patches of color wildflowers, to tall grassy paths, rolling mountain hills and even a rainbow the views did not disappoint! We did our best to capture it all in a variety of pictures! The weather was a warm mountain day with cloud rolling in and out the entire time, leading to a short drizzle during dinner which led to a rainbow peaking out at the front of the venue! Couldn't have asked for a more perfect day!
